Principal Biostatistician
Location: Greater Philadelphia or Boston
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)

Utilizing three strategic scientific platforms of plasma fractionation, recombinant protein technology, and cell and gene therapy, the company continually refines ways in which products can address unmet medical needs and help patients lead full lives.
Currently they are seeking a Principal Biostatistician to provide statistical leadership for clinical development programs. In this role, you will lead components of statistical contribution to clinical development programs, implement statistical strategies for clinical trials and regulatory submissions within the program and will be accountable for statistical deliverables. Susan specializes in the recruitment of biostatisticians across all levels in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and CRO industries. Before joining Penfield in 2015, Susan spent over 15 years with Smith Hanley Associates and its parent company inVentiv Health, also recruiting in the biostatistics space. One of her specialties is helping companies to make the transition from an outsourced to an in-house model by hiring their first biostatistician. Through continual research she strives to remain current on industry trends, as well as to provide a long-term “big picture” perspective to both clients and candidates.
Susan values an ethical, proactive, and personal approach. She holds a BFA in Painting from Syracuse University.
