Responsibilities:

  • Execute and oversee all aspects of ex vivo tissue processing, including sample homogenization and methodical analysis from diverse preclinical models—integral for generating reliable efficacy data.
  • Execute RNA and protein isolation from multiple tissue types, assuring optimal quantity and quality for advanced molecular assays (RT-qPCR, Western blot, ELISA).
  • Operate within a high-functioning team, closely partnering with scientists on the team to conduct simultaneous scientifi c activities.
  • Drive strong cross-team collaborations—align with therapeutic area, bioanalytical, and assay team colleagues to help deliver on project tasks
  • Maintain rigorous electronic laboratory records suitable for internal reviews and external communications and regulatory purposes.
  • Uphold uncompromising standards in lab safety, compliance, and best practices.


Qualifications:
Required

  • Master’s degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, pharmacology, or a related field, with at least 1 year relevant industry work experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in ex vivo tissue processing, RNA extraction, and protein isolation techniques from animal tissues.
  • Experience with downstream molecular techniques (RT-qPCR, Western blotting, ELISA, flow cytometry) is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary research environment.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality, reproducible results and documentation.

Preferred

  • Experience with in vivo dosing in rodents via SC, IP, and IV administration routes.
  • Experience with terminal tissue collection from animal studies.
  • Experience with triglyceride quantification in ex vivo tissues.

$50-60/hour, W2 commensurate with experience
